Time for the monthly farm update! And it starts with a story… but first: I need your help!I have a new project I want to build out for you. But before starting I’d like to get your opinion/thoughts directly… would you provide your input through a survey? ↓↓
Back to the story:About a year ago I started eating one lamb liver per month (each liver weighs about 1lb each). I wanted a natural boost of iron and vitamins… and I had a lot of lamb liver in the freezer. 6 mos into this new habit I went to my hairdresser for a cut. She started combing my hair and said: “WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING??”. I was confused – she sounded like my mom when she found a piece of chewed up gum at the base of my scalp.😂 She then parted my hair from the middle, revealing a forest of new hair growth. She said: “This is probably THE MOST new growth than I’ve seen on anyone at once!!” “What have you been doing?”
Then I remembered: 6 mos of lamb liver. I started sharing the lamb liver capsules with brothers and friends; one of whom received the same response from his barber after just a month of eating them.
Anyway: I have maintained my daily lamb-liver consumption; but I became sick of eating pan-fried liver for breakfast 😬. So I started freeze drying the lamb liver, filling my own capsules with the powder. I’ll take 4-6 capsules every morning with my coffee. Here is a link to the capsule filler I use.
My new Sunday afternoon hobby: spending time in my “pharmacy”😂. Grass fed and finished lamb liver capsules are $77 per jar when you can find them. I am able to fill between $300-500 worth* of homemade lamb liver capsules on a single Sunday afternoon. *To be clear, I do not sell the capsules (thanks to a host of regulatory bodies), but I do share with family.
Beef liver is common (and cheaper), but I was surprised to find that LAMB LIVER IS HIGHER (and we are talking significantly) in:
One more reason to love sheep, -the Shepherdess p.s. Don’t forget I need your help! Take my survey to give your input on my next project. PPS. Disclaimer: Consult with your healthcare provider before adding lamb liver to your daily routine. 😉 Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds… Proverbs 27:23 |
