We are a small farm, 80 acres, that have chosen to breed the cutest sheep in the world —the Valais Blacknose sheep. The valais Blacknose sheep are a heritage breed from Switzerland that were originally used for meat and wool. In Switzerland, some are still used for meat, however because they are so rare, especially in the United States, they are primarily used as pets because of their docile, friendly disposition. Currently we have about 40 sheep and our goal is to breed the best, simply for the love of the breed. Occasionally we sell our lambs, and we do sell our rams semen for breeding. Our farm is surrounded by Amish farms and we make our own hay—orchard grass. We love our sheep and we are blessed to have them on our farm.
