2021 Lambs For Sale:
5 Commercial Dorper Ram Lambs: $500. These commercial Dorper Ram Lambs are the top 5 from my 2021 lamb crop. These ram lambs come from my “corner pillar” ewes. Some of the characteristics that define these ewes in my flock are: top level parasite resistance, strong build, non-assisted lambing, good shedding, and ability to maintain condition post-lambing. These ram lambs are March born and will be ready to breed up to 30 ewes by September.
5 Feeder Lambs (whethers): $225. A whether is a castrated ram lamb. The lambs are about half grown at around 50-60lb. Ideal slaughter weight is 100-110lb. A whether gives you the ability to try your hand at raising lamb without the challenges that accompany a breeding operation. These lambs are 100% grass fed and ready to be finished on your pasture. A well-finished lamb will yield about 30-40lb worth of meat. Grassfed lamb of this quality currently retails for $15-20/lb in the DFW area. Whether you save the meat for your family, or sell it to friends, these feeder lambs are sure to provide a valuable experience for you and your family.

Born and raised on grass: While a majority of sheep growers rely heavily on grain feed inputs, my lambs are born and raised on grass only. My intensive pasture system involves moving my Dorper sheep and lambs to fresh pasture daily. This puts them on a constant supply of the freshest feed and cleanest ground!
No grain: What you see in my lambs is the result of grass and ewe’s milk only! My sheep perform exceptionally well on grass.
No Vaccines: At Harmony Farms we do not vaccinate our lambs. If vaccination is part of your program you will need to arrange this once the lambs are at your farm.
